From Elon NC, by way of Tampa Fl. Austyn
Howell is the Band's founder and guitar player. Creating the band in early 2012 with his good friend and current Nu-Blu mandolinist Austin Koerner, Austyn wanted to put into action a band that plays the style of bluegrass that is so dear to his heart.
When Lynn Russell is picking....you know it. Lynn has been in the mix with Bridgetown since its creation a year ago. Lynn comes from Kannapolis NC. Bluegrass is a family tradition for the Russells. He and his father picked in Grass Strings band for many years, playing alongside top talent. Lynn sings lead, tenor, and baritone. He also writes a few songs and plays (slays) Dobro.
Jason Hatley lives in Concord NC, and has taken over the bass duties. Jason and Lynn came up singing together, as did their fathers, so hearing these boys sing together is worth the price of admission in most countries. Jason lends his vocal talents, singing all 3 parts as well as writing some of Bridgetown's original stuff.
Stephen Caviness comes from Sanford NC, and is the newest addition to Bridgetown. Recently coming out of retirement after a long bout with student life and settling down (well he did take a break), he has returned to slaying the 5 string. With his blend of chromatic and hard driving style, Stephen is a valuable asset to Bridgetown. He'll also sing a little bass from time to time.

Kendall Gales resides in Liberty, NC and is absolutely one of the finest mandolin pickers around. He lends his talents to Bridgetown after a long stay with Pinecastle's Nu-Blu, based out of Siler City, NC. Tone is Kendall's middle name and he brings explosive mandolin play to the stage and in the studio with Bridgetown.textg
